My goodness what a busy fall we’ve had.  There was the Maryland Renaissance Festival, that trip to Russia, and lots of time spent in the workshop developing new creations.  Oh and HALLOWEEN one of the most fun holidays of the year! But now it is time to look up from the sewing machine!!  Because…

Soon it will be time for that great fairy reunion- FaerieCon East 2012!!!

etsy at last

Find all our one-of-a-kinds on etsy.com! Get them before they’re gone!

Last weekend we spent time in Denton, Maryland at the wonderful Summerfest.  It was great to work a show so close to home, and to see what other great arts are coming out of our community.  But early Saturday morning, before many guests came out to play, I had some time to myself in the booth- just me and these many skirts that is.  So I took the opportunity to snap pictures of each of the gnomie skirts- those made with remnant or re-purposed fabrics.  They all have crazy prints, and are all unique.

Then we spent most of Sunday getting the skirts on etsy.com, each with it’s own listing.  We even named them all! Check them out here, or follow this link to our Etsy Shop, Reincarnation Outfitters by AeriRose.

Now, through etsy.com you’ll be able to keep up with all the new things coming out of the workshop this winter while we experiment with new colors, styles, and techniques!

Horray!

a little too Oz-worthy

Day one of Denton Summerfest was a great success. The theme this year is “Wizard of Oz” and there were plenty of Dorothys, Cowardly Lions, and a flying monkey or two running around today. But as I sit in the comfortable chair in my parent’s living room, listening to the thunderheads rolling in across the farms and fields I have to hope that the weather does not take any cues from Oz. I’d like to return to my tent upright and in one piece tomorrow morning please! I have no need for a post-tornado technicolor adventure tonight. I’d like to stay right here on this side of the rainbow thank you! And to prove it, I’ll stick my rainbow right here. My tutu rainbow that is.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow!
